The family business “Klaverkaas” was founded in 1977 at the characteristic farmhouse in Winkel. In 2001 the company moved into a new cheese factory with a larger production capacity. An additional production line was added in 2005. A third production line was opened in January 2012. A renewed brine room has been taken into use aswell. Most of new prototypes of Scherjon’s equipment has been thoroughly tested at location at Klaverkaas.
